HOW TO START
This article provides general tips on how to choose a therapist. If you’re new to Men’s Esthe and don’t have any information yet, it’s advisable to select based on the therapist rather than the salon itself.
Once you find a good therapist, there’s a high likelihood that other therapists working at the same establishment will also be of high quality. This is because the therapist profession has high mobility, and good therapists tend to gravitate toward salons offering better working environments and conditions.
Because most websites about Men’s Esthe are available only in Japanese, you’ll need to gather information using browser translation tools or AI translation services.
MEN’S ESTHE PORTAL SITE
Below, we’ll introduce three Men’s Esthe ranking websites that commonly appear at the top of Google search results:
These websites are provided merely as examples and are not necessarily recommendations. The homepage structure of these informational websites typically consists of two main sections: A. Area Selection B. Recommended Therapists/Salons.

You can either select a conveniently located area and browse therapists from there or simply click on featured therapists highlighted on the homepage.
However, from these websites alone, it remains unclear which salons are good or bad, so it’s best to click around and search for therapists who match your preferences. Some sites include therapist or salon rankings in tabs at the top of the page, but it’s unclear how these rankings are determined, making their reliability uncertain. Additionally, individual therapist pages sometimes include customer reviews, but again, the trustworthiness of such reviews is unknown.
HOW TO CHOOSE THERAPISTS
After finding a therapist who catches your eye on an information site, the next step is to access her social media accounts to see what kind of information she shares. You’ll often find links to the therapist’s social media on their profiles on the portal sites mentioned above. Alternatively, you can visit the salon’s official website and find social media links on the therapist’s profile page there.

In general, the more active and engaging the therapist’s social media posts are, the more likely it is that she’s a good therapist. While it’s common for posted images to be digitally enhanced, recently, due to intense competition, many attractive therapists post natural, unedited pictures.
Some therapists also accept reservations directly through DM on their social media accounts. If that’s the case, you’ll usually find information stating this clearly in their profile sections on platforms like X (Twitter). Therapists who accept reservations via DM often tend to be high quality. Good therapists tend to be fully booked, making it difficult to secure an appointment, but following them on social media allows you to stay updated. Needless to say, it’s advisable to prepare your DM messages in Japanese using AI translation tools.
However, unfortunately, there may be instances where reservations are refused simply because you are a non-Japanese. This isn’t due to racism by therapists, but rather arises from cultural differences, communication difficulties, or, in the case of Westerners, a fear associated with larger body sizes. It’s unclear whether such restrictions come from salon policies or individual therapists’ decisions, but you should be aware that these situations can occur.
CHECKING THERAPISTS AVAILABILITY
Once you’ve found a therapist you like, be sure to check her availability. Some therapists post their working schedules or availability on their social media, so it’s worth checking there first. Alternatively, you can confirm her schedule through her profile page on the websites mentioned above or via the official salon website. Information on how to make reservations will be covered in a separate article.
FINDING A GOOD THERAPIST
Throughout this article, we’ve described various ways to find good therapists and salons, but the truth is, there’s always an element of chance involved. It’s common—even among Japanese clients—to experience situations where the therapist doesn’t match your expectations, or perhaps she has a great figure but provides poor service. Indeed, this sense of unpredictability is part of what makes Men’s Esthe appealing, and encountering a truly great therapist can bring exceptional satisfaction.
However, if you’d rather avoid the time-consuming process of researching salons and therapists or simply don’t want to risk disappointment, I encourage you to join our Patreon community as a premium member.
